I have been keeping this piece of news secret for quite a few months now and it’s been so hard.

BUT I can now shout from the roof tops (if I had a head for heights, was wearing a hi-vis jacket and safety harness ….._

I will be running two workshops at next year’s Great British Bead Show in Daventry, run by The Beadworkers Guild.  Details of all the workshops are in October’s Journal or just head on over to www.beadworkersguild.org.uk for more details.

Kits can be purchased from me and they’ll be ready and waiting for you when you arrive on the day.  Or you can bring your own supplies.

Friday 10th is the Quatrefoil Scissor Sheath with Scissor Fob.  Made from ivory Dupion silk and embellished with Miyuki gold coloured seed beads and bugles.  There are four scissor fob designs and you get to make all four, so you don’t have to choose!

Saturday 11th is the Jacobean Tile Booklet – a 6″/15cm square concertina booklet with a bead embroidered front (done by you) and a plain, silk covered back (done by me, for you).  Dupion silk is embellished with Miyuki seed beads and Gutermann sequins and 7 stitches are involved.

So head on over to the Beadworkers Guild website, book your slot and let me know if you wish to have a kit or not!

Looking forward to hearing from you
