There are times when glue has to be used.  And this glue is very attracted to needles.  It loves to envelop the needle so much so that it is nigh impossible to pass the needle and thread through the fabric/bead.  It can even get spread where no glue should be seen.  And I am sad to say that this even applies to the wonderful fabric glue pen that I am so in love with.

I learned quite recently that, apart from discarding perfectly good needles albeit gluey ones, get yourself some of those tumble dryer sheets that prevent static electricity on clothing.  It takes a few wipes but the glue can be removed a lot easier than trying to scrape off with fingernails!
