  1. Hi Manda,

Beverley here from Kathryn Halfpennys group that attended Oswaldtwistle Mills on Sunday, and was lucky enough to make a scissor fob, I throughly enjoyed the day and really enjoyed making the scissor fob, it just gave it another dimension and will hopefully put the beadwork to more uses. Would recommend anyone to try this technique as it looks so beautiful and delicate when completed.
Thank you once again for giving me the opportunity to try something new. I am going to try to do the picot edging on a hexagon shape next

    regards Beverley

    1. Hi Beverley

I’m really glad you enjoyed yourself that day – I’ve been away in the caravan to a site with no wifi so have only just got your message! Would love to have a photo of your hexagon shape when you’ve done it – this website is going to be ‘redone’ on September and there will be a gallery of other people’s work – hopefully!

So does this mean you’re into bead embroidery now – or will you just use the edging stitches for other non-embroidered designs?
